About Yeye

I’m a twenty-something first time mother and wife writing and entrepreneuring from home. I’m known around the house as “Yeye,” which means something like “big mama” in Yoruba. Why “yeye”? Yeye because motherhood itself feels…well, big – which can be endearing, empowering and frightening depending on how much sleep I haven’t gotten.

Yeye Says is where I write about my experiences and thoughts, as well as connect with other mothers for support, advice, laughs, and camaraderie. Let’s talk babies, mother-wife balance, attachment parenting, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, vegetarianism…

Wow. Congratulations! It has to be a great feeling to be able to give the experience if living in a home with a yard for the children. We’ll get there one day.

Thanks so much or visiting my lil blog and commenting. I’ve loved yours for years and would drop by from time to time. You know we didn’t grow up seeing married people or even purposeful relationships, so I’m learning with my peers. Ain’t this sumthin!

      Hey Tiffany!

Your blog is too cute. I thought I was crafty until I saw what you’ve been up to. The hat you made Chloe was adorable; I’ll have to keep reading through for examples of lil handsome things for boys.

I know what you mean about naptime. I do 95% of my blogging from my deploying while he’s napping on me or something. Much love to you!
